Lyrics: Anon

In die illa cadent montes
et plangent omnes super Iuda et Ierusalem
et dicent habitatores: Ecce plagae multae.
Quid igitur sunt istae plagae, O Domine,
in medio manuum tuarum et dicet:
His plagatus sum in domo eorum
qui diligebant me sed non cognoverunt me,
et pastorem percusserunt.

On that day, the mountains shall collapse
and all shall mourn for Judah and Jerusalem.
and the inhabitants may say: Lo, here are many afflictions.
What, then, are these plagues, Oh Lord,
amongst those in thy hands, and He may say:
I am afflicted in the house of them
that loved me, yet did not acknowledge me,
and that killed their Shepherd.
