Three-part marches ascribed to Handel from Bremner's "Collection of Airs and Marches for two Violins or German Flutes, some of which have basses", London, c. 1765.

This collection is indicative of the marches available to military bands at the time of the accession of George III, comprising old Handel favourites (Rinaldo dates from 1710, but was given a new lease of life in "The Beggar's Opera (1728)), other standards (Reid's "Garb of Old Gaul" continues in use today) and newer more ephemeral items. Bremner removed his publishing business from Edinburgh to London in 1762, and the current collection includes a slight imbalance in favour of items of Scottish origin.
