One of two reworkings by Willaert of Clemens non Papa's chanson, both published in La Couronne et fleur des chansons a troys, Venice, 1536; they are there entitled "Baisez-moi tant tant" - the first words of the refrain.

Au joli bois je rencontrai m'amie;
Quand m'aperçut elle fut réjouie.
Elle me dit, tout bas en souriant:
"Baisez-moi tant tant, fringuez-moi tant tant,
Mon ami je vous prie,
Baisez-moi tant tant, fringuez-moi tant tant,
Si serai votre amie".

So in the delightful wood, I meet my lover;
When she clocks me, she's well pleased.
She smiles and she's like:
"Snog me lots, grope me lots,
I'm asking you, mate,
Snog me lots, grope me lots,
If I'm to be your g.f."
