Andante spiritoso - Allegro - Allegro

"Six Concerto's in seven Parts, Four for Violins, one for a German Flute, one for a Violoncello, a Tenor & Thorough Bass for the Organ, or Harpsichord, compos'd by James George. Engrav'd and Printed by the Author at BATH." Nothing else is known by or about George, although he appears to have been a local musician. These concertos were issued c.1750 with a fulsome dedication to Richard "Beau" Nash. It is possible that they were used in either the Pump Room or the various Assembly Rooms.
