Ouverture - 2. - 3. - 4. - 5. - 6.[Hornpipe] - 7.

Probably conceived for strings, but deriving from a set of wind parts (of French origin) in the British Library. Incidental theatre set.

Of Thomas Tollett little is known. He may have been Irish, having links with the Dublin town band. Some theatre music survives (mainly in manuscript), and he composed a Farewell performed at the funeral of Queen Mary (Henry Purcell's music being the best known contribution for that occasion).
