From "David's Harp Well Tuned", 1753. Printed for retailers in Fleet Street, Nottingham, Mansfield and Derby. About Robert Barber nothing is known except from his three editions of his psalmody (1727 - 1753). This is an example of his more ambitious (unaccompanied) anthem style.

O clap your hands together, all ye people: O sing unto the Lord with the voice of melody.
For the Lord is great, and to be feared: he is the great King upon all the earth.
God is gone up with a merry noise: and the Lord with the sound of the trumpet.
