Angelus ad pastores ait:
Annuncio vobis gaudium magnum: quia natus est vobis hodie Salvator mundi.
Natus est vobis parvulus filius hodie, et vocabitur Deus fortis.
Alleluia.

And the angel said to the shepherds:
I bring you good tidings of great joy: for unto you is born today the saviour of the world.
To you is born today a small son, and he shall be called Mighty God.
Alleluia.
