Annuntio vobis gaudium magnum:
quia natus est vobis hodie Salvator mundi.
Alleluia.
Parvulus filius hodie natus est nobis,
et vocabitur Deus fortis.

The angel said to the shepherds: I bring you good tidings of great joy:
For unto you is born today the saviour of the world.
Alleluia.
Today a tiny child is born unto us,
And he shall be called mighty God.
