Epiphany motet from Motecta, liber primus, Venice, 1611.
Lyrics: Anon
Venite adoremus regem nostrum, cantemus et offeramus ei
aurum, thus et myrrham. Alleluia.
Quia magi veniunt ab oriente, munera defferunt,
et tandem coronantur, et accipiunt palmam. Alleluia.
O come, let us worship our king, let us sing
and offer him gold, frankincense and myrrh. Alleluia.
For the wise men came from the east and brought gifts,
and so they are crowned and receive the palm. Alleluia.
