So this nun, well-groomed and with a good figure,
Expresses regret at having to leave the world,
And I says to her: "You should have no regret
About something so profane, my friend.
Have you not taken Jesus Christ, pure and wholesome,
as your spouse in your vocation,
And in whose name your soul at one?"
"Well yes", says she, "and I don't wish to recant in any way,
But Jesus Christ is a soul-mate
And I need a mate for the flesh."
