This sumptuous Easter motet was latterly used at the celebrations for Holy Roman Emperor Matthias II's 60th birthday, 1617. Instruments should be used to reinforce the voices, particularly the lower bass parts.

This edition comprises a full score with two condensed scores for subsets of the choirs.
Lyrics: Matthew 28: 2,5,6

Alleluia.

The Angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
And said to the women, Fear ye not: for I know that ye seek Jesus which was crucified:
He is risen: come, see the place where the Lord was laid.
Alleluia.>/i>
